The Alpine Shire Council uses software known as a Geographical Information System (GIS) to locate, query and analyse geographical information. A version of Council's GIS is available for public use. The Alpine Interactive Mapping System (AIMS) provides functionality that allows the user to view much of the Alpine Shire's geographical information on the web. Please note the following:
AIMS is configured for use in Internet Explorer (version 6.0 or greater). AIMS may be accessed using other browsers, however, there may be problems with formatting and some functionality may not be available.
AIMS requires popups to be allowed for printing purposes from the web site.
